TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS

January 5, 2023
Have you heard? The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has updated the Lead and Copper Rule Revisions (LCRR) as of December 16, 2021. It requires all community water systems to develop an inventory of all potential presence of lead within each service line connection, both system-owned and customer-owned, by October 16, 2024.

The City of Greensboro has launched its Lead & Copper Program Survey to identify the material type of customer-owned service lines. We are asking all Greensboro water customers, residents, and business owners alike to locate the indoor section of their private service line, test the line's material, and then report the results to the City. The entire process should take no more than 15 minutes. Step-by-step directions and how to report findings are located at www.greensboro-nc.gov/LeadCopper

Using our plumbing knowledge and expertise, we can assist with locating and testing private water service lines and completing the survey. Give us a call today.

As we all have seen the start of 2021 has been very challenging with daily price increases and product shortages.   We strive daily to keep products in stock at competitive prices and give you as much notice as possible when price changes, however some of the companies we buy from are not giving us any advanced notice of price increases.  The price increases we are getting from some vendors are effective when it is announced.

Unfortunately, because of the supply chain issues we have very little stock and are forced to raise our price on products effective immediately.  Many vendors have also announced recent increases that have already taken place effecting PVC pipe, copper pipe, steel pipe, fittings, water heaters, and almost all fixtures.  We have always tried to honor quotes for at least 30 days but due to the fast pace of increases we cannot do that at this time.

These are challenging times for all of us that we hope will subside very soon.  We will continue to be diligent to control costs and work hard to provide quality products and services at competitive prices.  We thank you for your past, current, and future business.
